We’re excited to announce that Peyton Marcus has joined OpenWeb to take over the role of Chief Operating Officer. She’s going to be instrumental in helping us continue to drive our mission and business forward.
Peyton will be part of the executive leadership team and report directly to Nadav Shoval, our co-founder and CEO. She will be responsible for crucial projects that are underway for 2022 and beyond, including OpenWeb’s continued global expansion, innovation, and team growth. She brings unique leadership experience, an invaluable skill set in scaling operations across verticals in the media industry, and has a true passion for our mission to save online conversation.
To paraphrase something Peyton recently said, we are at a point in history where the conversations we have online are shaping real societal outcomes, making OpenWeb’s work absolutely critical. Now is the time for us to use the momentum we’ve built to elevate our reach and capabilities, and really make an impact. Peyton will play an incredibly important role in supporting and challenging the team as we evolve our business to further accelerate that rapid growth.
Roee Goldberg, our wonderful co-founder who served as the COO over the past seven years, will maintain his position on the executive leadership team with a focus on company growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, and expansion to new verticals.
Peyton comes to OpenWeb from a4, the advertising division of Altice USA, a cable television company, where she served as Senior Vice President (SVP), Revenue Operations, and before that, Cheddar, where she was SVP, Operations.
